Cannot Connect to CQG Data

    Cannot Connect to CQG Data

    I have been unable to connect with CQG live trading data this afternoon. Broker is AMP, connection is live w/ CQG.

    I receive a message box popup that states "Login Failed: Network connection to Data Server System is unavailable."

    Basic trouble shooting steps have already been completed....exit ninjatrader and re enter, reset of my modem, and a restart of the computer. Nothing has worked.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks for your note.

    I'd like to see your log and trace files. Please send me a note to platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com. Attach your most current log and trace files to the email, and put a link to this forum post in the body of the email. Please note "ATTN: Drew" in the body of the response.

    You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

    The log file will be named "log.20150412.txt"

    You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

    The trace file will be named "trace.20150412.txt"

      Thank you for the reply. I contacted my broker, and the problem was rectified. The explanation given was that my internet service had a minor "hiccup". I never lost internet connectivity, so that is a bit of a mystery to me.

      In any case, the problem has been solved, but thank you for your response.
