highlight previous day's close price on chart

Hi Support,
Is there a way to highlight previous day's close price on the chart (on the price y-axis on the right) ? Like right now last traded price gets highlighted in black. please let me know if there is any sample code/indicator.

Thank you for the question.

There is not a way to directly highlight a specific price on the axis its self, what you can do though would be to use an indicator and use a Plot. The Label for the plot would place a Marker in the Axis at the price.

The easiest way to do this would be to use the existing indicator PriorDayOHLC.
You can set which plots this displays from its properties so you could only show the Prior Close if you wanted.

If you trade futures you may either wish to see

- the regular close
- or the settlement price

In this case you should try the SessionPivots indicator. It lets you choose between the regular close and the settlement price of the prior day.

The chart attached shows the prior day's regular session high (2114.75), the prior day's regular session low (2106.00) and the settlement price (2111.75). You can disable all plots not needed. To display the regular session high, low and settlement, you need a specific session template, which allows the indicator to exclude off-session data.
