    FXCM Demo account wont show live data

    Hello I received a demo account today from FMCM and End of day data is coming through but live data is not. I have tried everything I can think of and cannot get it to load. Is end of day data all that is provided for a demo FXCM account?

    Please help if this is not the case. Thanks.

    Thank you for your post. I tested an FXCM demo on my end and seemed to get data OK.

    To test, please reset your instruments, this will ensure that the internal setting for the instruments are up-to-date with server specifications: Disconnect and go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Data tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.

    You will need to close and restart NinjaTrader for the settings to take effect.

    Are you able to then get data after restarting NinjaTrader?

          demo real time stops to work

          Hallo I have the same problem everything seem to works, connection ok, I have performed your suggest to reset instruments by real time still doesn't work. thanks for help

            So that I may further investigate please contact me by email at PlatformSupport [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In the message please include a link to this forum thread as well as a copy of today's trace file.

            The trace file is located in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder. I would need to review the file named 'trace.20151213.txt'.

              hello thanks for so fast response.
              now it works, I don't know why, I tryed more times to reset DB and Instruments, at the end it works. it seems that it has difficulties to disconnect completely from server and sometime something remain" open" and the reset of db is not complete.. but it is my supposition... but it is my supposition I'm not an expert.

                    Dear Sir,
                    I'm new with this. I tried to make a demo account to trade e mini SP500 , because i tried to leanr about this,
                    If NT 8 is failed , I have to install nt 7 correct?
                    I have to instal TWS ( I saw on forums )

                    Please tell what I need to installed because i don't know
