    Text dropdown or 'f12' button--not working

    Hi,

    I use the text ALL the time (intraday).

    Today, on any of my regular charts or even new ones I set up--when I click on text from dropdown menu or use hotkey f12; when I left click I can't get text to write.

    In fact when I do that, my indicator in the bottom panel 'dissapears' until I then right click--and it reappears.

    This just began today.

    I re-installed Ninjatrader and it made no difference.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for your note.

    I'd like to see your log and trace files. Please send me a note to platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com. Attach your most current log and trace files to the email, and put a link to this forum post in the body of the email. Please note "ATTN: Drew" in the body of the response.

    You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

    The log file will be named "log.20150518.txt"

    You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

    The trace file will be named "trace.20150518.txt"

      Was this issue resolved, and how? I have just started experiencing the same of no text showing in text properties or on charts.

        Unfortunately, I am unable to find the relevant case history for this matter. So that I may investigate I would ask that you contact me by email at PlatformSupport [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In your message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace files. You will find these diagnostic file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder. I will need to review a copy of the files which are named 'trace.20150814.txt'.

          I had to save my Ninja on a stick and then do a complete re-install.
