Hi,

Can someone explain to me why after connecting to IQ Feed, NT doesn't load all the data correctly and I have to refresh every chart using "Reload all historical data" feature in order to have accurate data.

If you look at the 2 charts that I've attached

Chart 1 "$AUDCHF Bad Date.jpg" shows what NT loads after connecting to IQ Feed

Chart 2 "AUDCHF After Refresh.jpg" shows data after "Reload all historical data"

This gets a bit tedious when you have to do it for 20 different charts

You can reload all historical data at once at Control Center-->Tools-->Historical Data Manager-->Reload-tab.

Can you please proceed as follows. Shut down NinjaTrader and navigate to the location below.

Documents-->NinjaTrader 7-->db

Delete the cache folder within the db folder

Start NinjaTrader and check if charts load all data right away.

The cache folder is used to quickly load data in charts - the actual data is saved in the tick, minute and day folders. The first time you load chart data after deleting the db-->cache folder, it will take a little longer to load than usual. Once all data is loaded, it will load data quickly again. I suspect there is corruption in this folder which causes your issue.

I deleted just the "cache" folder but that didn't really improve things so I also removed the other folders (day, tick, data and minute) which were over 5gb in size.

Took a while to load data on restart but it looks good now.
