FXCM's UK100 = FTSE 100

Hi everyone

I have an account with FXCM.

I've just noticed FXCM offers an instrument: UK100, which is obviously the FTSE 100 (the principal stock index in the UK).

I notice in the NT7 Instrument Manager that there's the UK100_CFDGB (which, being a CFD, wouldn't be a future ).

Would FXCM with NT7 recognise UK100_CFDGB as the UK100?

Is there a futures contract that 'mirrors' the UK100 in the same way the YM mirrors the Dow?

Thank you for your post.

The 'UK100_CFDGBP' instrument which is included with NinjaTrader by default does link to FXCM's UK100 product.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of a related futures product.

That's terrific news. I simply had no idea you could trade the FTSE through Ninja.

I've now seen the DAX is likewise available with:

$GER30_CFDEUR

Note for Brits with FXCM accounts: Trading the FTSE (UK100) and the DAX (GER30) using Ninja/FXCM is highly recommended as FXCM's spread in these markets is only 1, being competitive with the usual spread betters.

Unfortunately, the DOW (US30) is not, with a spread of 4.
