Position Handling on multiple instruments

Hello,

i am using Ninjatrader 7 and have got a question.

If i run a strategy on multiple instruments at the same time, does Ninjatrader handle those strategy-orders as instances or do i have to query the instrument in onOrderUpdate and when i am using SetStopLoss etc?

To answer your first question

Each strategy is it's own instance. No the onOrderUpdate will only apply to that specific strategy and does not have to reference the instrument in onOrderUpdate.

does Position.MarketPosition work over all instances or for each instrument i add the strategy?

Position.MarketPosition is working for that specific strategy instance and does not referrence other strategies. This will return the position for that specific strategy instance and not other instances or other instruments.
