    Free Futures Demo Account

    Hi,

Just some questions about "Free Futures Demo Account" (https://www.ninjatraderbrokerage.com...s_trading_demo)

    1. How long this account can be used? (if I register today, when will it expire?)
    2. what is the difference between this account & market replay? (from fills point of view)

Hi Vasia.Pupkin, thanks for your post.

    1. The demo will last you three weeks, after which you can request another if you wish. The CME may or may not grant your request for another.
    2. From a fills point of view, both are the same, as both Market Replay and the NinjaTrader Continuum demo only allow trades to be posted to a simulation (paper trading) account.

      thanks - more questions:

      >The CME may or may not grant your request for another.

If they decide not to grant it then is there something like "Not Free Futures Demo Account" and how much does it cost?

      >From a fills point of view, both are the same

      And other differences are -

-(1) in replay everything happens localy at my computer
-(2) and with the demo account orders are sent to ninjatrader server where they are processed in the same way as in (1),
-(3) the prices (in replay saved prices are used, with demo account live prices are used)

      Is it correct?

      are there other differences?

Hi Vasia.Pupkin, thanks for your reply.

        1. There is not, unfortunately. If you wish to continue using NinjaTrader Continuum after being cut off on demo requests by the CME, you would need to sign up for a live NinjaTrader Brokerage account.
        2. That is correct. I am unaware of any differences beyond that.

is it possible to do a simulation (paper trading) with live account?

Hi Vasia.Pupkin, thanks for your reply.

Yes, that would be possible. The Sim101 account is always selectable in NinjaTrader, regardless of your broker or datafeed provider.
