FXCM cfds

Hello,

I have an account open with FXCM to trade cfds with NT. I want that every point the German30 DAX moves equals 10 €. I changed the value per point from 0.1 to 10, I tried in a sim account to verify but 4 points was a loss of 40.000.

How can I do it properly?

What size of position did you open?

I would still need to know what size of position was used in the trade which you mentioned. Can you provide this information? You should see the size of the order reflected in the Executions and Orders tabs of the Control Center.

Thanks for your answer, I attach a screenshot of my position. There are 2 examples of the cfds. If you need anything else let me know. By the way, is there any option to have money again in that sim account?

Thank you for getting back to me.

Based on the position sizes which you are using (1000, and 10000) your per tick price would be higher than you expect. If you were instead trading with a position size of 100 you would see this instrument move in 10 € ($11.22) increments as you outlined above.

Thanks again. I try to open a position but I can´t. I attach another screenshot. IS there a way to have more money in the demo account? By the way,would it be ok if in quantity I set 0.01M for that 100 you said before?

Hello,

Resetting the simulation account will allow you to restore equity to the account. To reset the simulation account:

• Open the Options menu (Tools > Options)
• In the Simulator tab, please click 'Reset' then click OK.
• A pop up notification will then appear indicating that the process is complete. After you dismiss this message please click OK to exit the Options menu.

The 0.X M format is based on millions so 0.01 M would be equivalent to an order for 10000. I would recommend simply using the quantity '100' here.
