    Hello, am new and having issues

    Hi there, just got windows 8.1 on my macbook pro running parallels, and an error keeps popping up, and Ninjatrader wont load up. I am new to running parellles and just trying to get my account going. I was wondering if someone could help me out please, thank you

    Here is the error

    Thank you for your post. It may be there are just some setting that need to be altered.
    Please launch the Windows virtual machine and go to the Configure settings > Options > Sharing.

    In order for NinjaTrader to function normally, no folders can be shared between the Mac and PC.

    If they are indeed set to be shared, first uninstall NinjaTrader completely.

    Close all running applications.
    Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.

    From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove

    Delete the NinjaTrader 7 folder found at the My Documents library.

    Then, unshare the folders and try installing NinjaTrader again.

      Hi there, I dont know how to use this virtual machine you are talking about, I run Parallels as of yesterday, and dont really know how to use all these programs at the same time, I dont know where to go to do what you want me to do thanks

              What steps have you taken up to this point?

              Note: If the folders were shared, you'll need to re-enabled folder sharing and uninstall. You'll then unshare the folders and at that point re-install.

                      Just to be certain, did you hear back from us at PlatformSupport [AT] NinjaTrader [ DOT] Com and arrange a support session?

                      I just want to make sure you're not just waiting for us to connect. Launching the support utility itself does not inform us, you'll need to schedule a session via email with one of our techs for us to be able to reach you.
