    Time and Sales window

I was just wondering about the T&S window to see if i understand it correctly.

Unless I'm mistake traders sell the 'Bid' and buy the 'Ask'. With that said, sell trades on the Bid are usually red and buy trades on the Ask are usually green/blue. Is there any particular reason why the default colors in NT's T&S are blue for trades on the Bid and green for trades on the Ask...

    Hello,
There is no particular reason for the color defaults chosen.
You can change these by selecting the color that you prefer from the properties window and press OK.
If we can be of any other assistance please let us know.

      Hello All,

Instead of starting a new thread what I have to ask goes along these lines however I don't mean to hijack a thread - if the mods see fit you can break this off under a new thread.

I'm in the Forex market. Staying with the default colors: I'm a little confused on how to read the window - if I see the majority of transactions coming through as green, or ask, does that mean the majority is going short on the pair thinking that it will be heading down?

I'd like to look at time and sales as added confirmation on what the majority is doing.

      Thanks,

      Terry

        Hello,
The Time and Sales window does not necessarily indicate which way the market is going. It is reporting what orders are getting filled and where.
We can not make recommendations on how to read this and whether more ask orders indicates if the market is going to go short or long as this is considered trading advice.
If we can be of any other assistance please let us know.
