after yet another crash of NT when loading a chart why has it taken nearly 4 minutes to load a minimal amount of data after restarting NT?

The trace file information shows historical tick data was loaded, which took 4 minutes. It can take a while for historical tick data to be loaded. It does not show a crash of NinjaTrader. Crashes are listed as below in the trace file.

Am I correct NinjaTrader became unresponsive once NinjaTrader was restarted. Or did it become unresponsive once NinjaTrader restarted and you created a new chart?

Can you please send me your log and trace files so I can investigate. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Attn Jason, Data download' in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.

i was trying to load some data for some currencies, USDSEK, USDNOK which I don't use often and NT crashed, as usual when you try to do something different.

As a result i had to restart NT which then had problems loading any data data, Restarted again no joy, rebooted my pc then some data loads but some data, as shown, takes ages.

And yes it's historical data, all data is historical, but it's already been downloaded numerous times before right up to the minute it crashed. So why do i have to wait a ridiculous amount of time again.

And how can you justify 4 minutes...No more than 30 seconds max! What is it doing...!

NinjaTrader wil reload historical data if 'End date' is set to today's date in the Data Series menu of the chart. Please see the link below under 'When does NinjaTrader load historical data?' for more information.

It loaded tick data for the current day for all instruments listed which took 4 minutes.

i can download a 50mb file in less time....
