I have opened position I cannot close

I upgraded my NT yesterday to the latest version.

I did few trades today morning.

In positions window it shows me opened position on a market I never traded (and it doesnt even exist in TWS).

I connected to IB. TWS doesnt show any open position.

Obviously it is some glitch. How can I clean this?

      Hi,

I have a Strategy which got long 1 future this morning. The trade was executed properly. The Log-tab showed the whole order routine went as expected.

The Strategies-tab however showed 'position = -' and the Positions-tab showed a negative PnL, while the position itself at that moment was profitable. There also was no buy marker in my chart.

Yesterday I had a problem with the same Strategy and future. A position that should have been stopped and reversed was only stopped out, but not reversed.

It seems somewhere there is an 'unidentified' open position for this future in the database which gets things out of sync.

Can I reset the database to solve this problem?

      Thanks

resetting database or simulator doesn't fix OPEN POSITION problem

            Guys,

I also have this issue with open orders being retained within the system, so that when the strategy is restarted, it shows them back again.

I have tried compacting the database, resetting the database and resetting my simulator accounts (all 20).

I have analysed the problem, and the issue appears to be that the data of a particular open order is retained based on a specific strategy, instrument, data period combination.

Perhaps this points to a Ninja database table that contains a list of linked fields not being correctly deleted or cleaned?

Please refer my comments on the attached diagrams for further information.

            regards,
            sysimp

Not sure I follow. Are you saying your strategy places an order as soon as it's started? If so, then I suggest debugging your strategy to understand why it places orders.
