    Scanning a market

I am fairly new to NinjaTrader so sorry if this is a very basic question.
From what I can see in NT, the only scanning facility is the MarketAnalyzer which seems to focus on right now. i.e., it analyses the current market and displays whatever the columns are e.g., price, volume. What I am trying to do is to scan a list of stocks e.g., S&P500 and find all stocks where the daily volume in the last 10 days is 2x greater than the 20 day Moving Average for that stock. In essence a volume spike has occurred. Can this be done in NT either using the MarketAnalyzer or another facility?

    Hello GlennL,

Unfortunately this is not supported by default. However you could create a custom indicator that uses the calculation you refer. Subsequently you can load the custom created indicator in the Market Analyzer by adding an Indicator column.
