    Overnight Trade

    CL position held overnight.

    1st part - Closed automatically as expected
    2nd part - Tried to close manually this morning. However, received an error when trying to do do so;

    1st question what is this nonsense error message about the order not matching the original order and why can i no longer see the trade in NT for pnl....clearly visible in IB?

      Thank you for your inquiry.

      The "Order being modified does not match original order (105)" is an error message directly from Interactive Brokers.

      Can I verify what version of Trader Workstation you are using with NinjaTrader? The only supported version is 944.3, which you can get here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/ninjatrad...tall_944_3.exe

      To further investigate, can you please send me your log and trace files?

      You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.

      Please reference my name and the forum thread in the body of the email.

        Yes i'm using the supported version, but hadn't you better start making NT work with newer versions of TWS...if there are any?

          Hello ryebank,

          I have received your log and trace files, but it seems like I was unable to open them. I have sent a reply email back with instructions to manually send a log and trace, but will post the instructions here for you as well:

          Please manually attach your most current log and trace files to your reply back to the email I have sent to you, so I may investigate this matter further.

          You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
          The log file will be named "log.20150722.txt"

          You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
          The trace file will be named "trace.20150722.txt"

          We are looking to support newer versions of TWS in NinjaTrader 8.
