    export data in correct time zone

    Hi, i have some data from backtestdata.com

    i've noticed when i look at the data in the historical data manager its different to when i export it (the dates)

    i want to export 16/01/2013 1 min data for CL.

    i want to get from 12am to 11:59pm (full 24 hours) as the times stamps would be for Eastern Time.

    My time current is UTC +10 (Sydney)

    as a workaround i changed my PC time to Eastern Time and then did the export.

    Is there a better way to do this?

    Thank you for your post.

    Data displayed within NinjaTrader will use your local PC's timezone settings for display. When data is exported from NinjaTrader the data will be based on a UTC + 0:00 time however.

      Hi Kyle, yes thats what i read in the NT help guide.

      but here are two exports, one with my local pc time as UTC, and another as UTC +10

              Unfortunately, I do not understand how NinjaTrader could export your data in different formats - in my testing exported data uses UTC + 0:00 regardless of my PC's timezone setting.                   also make sure your changing your system time, then closing NT, then reopening NT
