Trailing Stop and Stop Loss method

Hello, i am a beginner for coding.

    My target is ,
    1. set up a Inside Bar indicator,
    2. set up a strategy that when the market position is just higher or lower then the H/L 1 tick of that Inside bar, then entry.
    3. Just entry once. Trailing Stop for profit taking and stop loss by 5 ticks.

i found some helpful post here but it seems a lot of different ways to do that. it makes me confusing.

    Thank You.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the question.

This will depend on what you need the indicator to do if that needs to be exposed to the strategy.

I would like to ask, have you already started on the indicator at this point? If not I would recommend first reviewing how some of the standard indicators work by going to Tools -> edit NinjaScript -> indicator.

Indicators require manual coding so if this is the first item you will be creating, it would help to review some already working examples.

if the strategy will depend on the indicator, it would likely be best to start with the indicator. can you provide more specifics of what you are trying to do in the indicator and I can provide better documentation or samples.

I look forward to being of further assistance.
