Upgrade From Quarterly Subscription to Lifetime

I'm a little unsure about how I will use Ninjatrader and I would like to try it out on my live accounts (non-sim stuff) for about a week. If I buy the Quarterly subscription and then after a week decide I want a lifetime license do I have to wait until the end of the quarter to pay 995.00 or will you prorate the 180 amount for the time used so I can upgrade to lifetime so I don't end up paying 180 + 995.

I imagine since you have a strict cancellation policy that I would not be able to prorate the 180 and 'turn it into' a lifetime license.

Just to be clear. When upgrading to lifetime will you prorate all the time you've paid quarterly? So if I go quarterly for a year, ($720 right?) and want to upgrade after that I just pay the $280? Or is this only for the first few weeks?
