No daily volume on FESX

    No daily volume on FESX

    I have a continuum connection and added an FESX row to a market analyzer I have.with some other cme instruments. The "daily volume" is blank. I have an indicator column using tick data and it is updating correctly so I know I am receiving the data from the exchange.

    Any clue on why this FESX column might be blank?

    Which contract of FESX is used in the Market Analyzer?

      Using ninja build 30. I am using the FESX 09-15 contract.

        Hello,

        Thank you for getting back to me.

        Please select FESX 09-15 in the Orders tab of the Control Center window. Do you see updates in the bid, ask and last price fields or is 'n/a' shown here?

          No it is dead as a hammer. No updates.

          But the fesx is closed at this hour.

            Please contact me by email at PlatformSupport [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In your message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace file. You will find the file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder. I will need a copy of the file which is named 'trace.20150902.txt'.

              In checking to make sure I got the right trace file I notice this entry:

              'FESX 09-15' is not enabled for real time level I quotes.

              That would cause it for sure.

                This could definitely explain the issue. I would recommend that you contact my colleagues on our brokerage team at BrokerageSupport [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com to confirm that your account is authorized for real-time FESX data based on this.
