Can I connect to data feed at same time as I run Market Replay?

Also what if I use NT on another computer? How can I keep the two in sync and/or replay data recorded on the other computer?

If someone else records data, can they send me the file to replay here?

Data files are recorded in <install>\db\data.

You can copy those files to other machine.

on the other question... having two sessions open at once with diff connections... I experiemented and lost the ability to connect to vcapfutures... maybe a coincidence...

should I be able to run NT on one computer in market replay mode and on another conntected to vcapfutures?

Kinetick Post day free data

Hi
Does the Kinetick data provide all of the intra bar data? So I can have the same advantages of testing the Market replay?

Is there instructions on using it? (eg do I connect and is it saved locally on my computer so I can do market replay etc)

If you have a real-time subscription to Kinetick, you will receive intraday data to NinjaTrader which can be recorded in market replay.

Market Replay works if you have downloaded or recorded market replay data.

The Kinetick End of Day -- Free connection which comes preconfigured with NinjaTrader 7 is only for end of day daily data.

For intraday data, you will need a real-time subscription.

The Kinetick EOD connectoin will only give data for daily intervals such as daily, weekly, monthly, etc.

For intraday data such as tick or minute, you would need a real-time subscription to Kinetick or another real-time data provider.

Downloading Replay Data
NinjaTrader offers a limited amount of replay data free to download. Only the most common instruments are currently available.

Notes:

·Record for market replay must be disabledfrom the Data tab of the Options menu before downloading replay data.
·NOT available when connected to the Market Replay connection.

To download replay data:

1.Select the File menu in the Control Center, select the menu item Utilities and select Download Replay Data... The Download Replay Data window appears.
2.Select the instrument and date of the desired replay data and press the OK button to begin the download.
