Backtesting takes into account the time change from winter to summer?

    Hello,

I 'm programming an automatic strategy based on temporary range expansions . I have a question about the backtesting of ninja, if for example I bactesting since January 1, 2015 until September 24, 2015 , NinjaTrader takes into account the time change from winter to summer March 8 when making backtesting ?.

    Thanks a lot in advance

    Hello Pedro M,

Thank you for writing in. NinjaTrader uses your computer's timezone to timestamp the historical bars. If you are set to use daylight savings time, then daylight savings time would be factored into the bars timestamps.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.
