    Ninjatrader don't load config chart

    I have about 20 chart opened on a workspace

    Yesterday it start about in 20 minutes, until it wasn't ready the screen was locked and i cannot see any chart. When I refresh historical data they locked and not respond. I killed the process.

    Today is about 40 minutes thas i've started it and it isn't ready to work. I cannot see the chart loaded, seem locked.

    Someone can help me ?

    I'd like to see your log and trace files. Please send me a note to platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com. Attach your most current log and trace files to the email, and put a link to this forum post in the body of the email. Please note "ATTN: Drew" in the body of the response.

    You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

    The log file will be named "log.20150929.txt"

    You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

    The trace file will be named "trace.20150929.txt"

      Thanks for the reply.

      I've just delete the db cache and it's started. It's too slow but it start.

      I've seen that the processor doesn't work at full power while they load the charts and i've seen on the log file the option 'Optimized CPU performance enabled'. It's possible to disable this option ?

      This is the PC features.

        Hello,

        NinjaTrader 7 is a single-core application. This means that dispite the available cores in your CPU, NinjaTrader 7 can only access one. This is resolved in NinjaTrader 8.

        I have not yet received your note at Platform Support. Please reach out to me at this location to investigate this matter further.

          Drew i've seen now that the waste time during the starting is due to this when the cache dir is full

            Hello,

            These message would actually refer to the period at which NinjaTrader is loading your custom add-on's. This process can take some time, depending on your PC and what add-on's you have imported into the platform.

              Yes but only when the db cache folder is full.

                Unfortunately, I don't quite follow your most recent reply. These messages will appear each time NinjaTrader is loaded.
