Acces to Path to Vendor.dll denied

Hi,

I was using Ninjatrader fine for a while & all of a sudden I get this error

"Acces to Path /Ninjatrader.Vendor.dll denied"

I have full admin permission & yet this persists. I tried uninstall re-install but still no success. I used the generic windows uninstaller as well as Revo uninstaller. Still the issue is the same.



Please help me troubleshoot this error.

I'd like to see your log and trace files. Please send me a note to platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com. Attach your most current log and trace files to the email, and put a link to this forum post in the body of the email. Please note "ATTN: Drew" in the body of the response.

You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

The log file will be named "log.20151005.txt"

You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

The trace file will be named "trace.20151005.txt"

File permissions issue. I have come across many times when windows does not propagate file permissions in the manner described in the literature. Give your userID full permissions to the folder and its contents. Yes, even if you are a member of the Administrators group already!
