NT8 issues with price entry and exits after setting break even.

I'm testing an ATM with reverse target and reverse stop, stop loss 7 pips on the GBPJPY and target1 at 50pips.

A break even of 10 profit trigger set to pips and plus 1 (1 pip profit beyond break even).

here I`ve been stopped out with a 1 pip stop loss. but its actually set to 7 in the strategy.

the break even doesn't seem to happen when the market moves 10 pips..this is a live sim101 account..

at least I cannot tell from this..

also why are stopouts called "accepted" and target1`s are "working" , aren`t they both equal status oco?

      actually it`s ok.

I can see on that last post the stop loss has set to 1 pip in profit. I`m going blind from trying to read the different ATMS running in the order window...

      - definitely looking forward to that order tab filter drop down menu option for things like atm strategy, price range, time,

I`m not seeing the 1 pip profit here in the performance window/trades for GBPJPY,

      entry 184.15 stop1 at 184.14

1 pip not visible at that time, if it gets executed at flat even does it not show?

again, I know its peanuts but am I supposed to be credited for this minor profit? short 184.067, exit stop 184.061, nothing shows in the trades window around that time. 2:05am.

I don`t understand this entry exit name wording...
shouldn't entry name be stop1, and exit name be "entry" as in the original entry?
not sure why it says entry entry for entry/exit names, and stop1 stop1 for entry exit names.

and would be good to list the specific strategy name in the trade performance/trades filter GBPJPY window so I can know which atm for that PnL is being listed.

        Hello jitterbug,

Could it be the trade was closed by a stop loss from another entry order you submitted with an ATM strategy attached? As mentioned in the other post, trades are paired based on executions on time of occurrence. I think executions are not matched as you expect.

I will forward the suggestion to show the ATM strategy template name in the Trade Performance-->Trades window.

yea I think so Jason how do I set up my ATM strategies separately so they "stay contained" and the target1 and stop1 only affect each other within that ATM?,

I read something about it in the help file, about choosing the type of ATM you are about to create, but I can`t find those settings in the fxpro atm strategy section...is it possible?

here target 1 is supposed to be profit 50 pip but it came out a loss of around $6... so I`m lost on that. talkin about a kick in the ass

Unfortunately this is not supported as per the Trade Performance window. It will always pair executions into trades based on time of occurrence.

You can separate it when trading using two FX Pro windows as follows.

            Open two FX Pro windows.

Right click in the FX Pro window and select 'Properties'.

Set 'ATM strategy selection mode' to 'Display selected ATM strategy only' and click OK.

Do the same in the other FX Pro window.

Submit your buy entry order with ATM strategy attached in one FX Pro window. Submit your sell entry order with ATM strategy attached in the other FX Pro window.

The suggestion to show the ATM strategy template name in the Trade Performance-->Trades window is assigned to SFT-784.
