    aborting

    Hi,

    after aborting a optimizer test, it still shows this message in the control center ( for the last 18 hours..);

    Aborting. Please wait...

    What going on?

    Thank you for your post.

    It could be stuck in a loop which is causing memory to climb as well. I would right click on the Windows Task Bar -> select Start Task Manager -> go to the processes and monitor the memory for NinjaTrader.exe.

    In addition, please send us your log and trace files by going to Help -> Mail To Support. Ensure to reference this thread in the e-mail: 'http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum/showthread.php?t=79353'

        Thank you for your response.

        This is a high amount of memory use for the platform. I suspect it is stuck in a loop or memory leak.
        I would right click on the NinjaTrader.exe and select End Process.

        We have not received your files yet, but please also send over a screenshot of the settings used for your backtest and the strategy used (if possible).

        You can attach your indicator to your response by going to File > Utilities > Export NinjaScript > Export selected source files > select your Indicator > select the right arrow > Export. The file will be located under (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\ExportNinjaScript.

            Thanks Rob,

            The e-mail address is 'platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com'.

            You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
            • The log file will be named "log.20151019.txt"

            You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
            • The trace file will be named "trace.20151019.txt"
