    error ticks on GBPAUD?

these 2 bars marked look like giving false high and low readings, can you confirm this?
    I`m using FXCM.

would I be able to control this by having the filter bad ticks option on with setting at 0.1?

2.1323 high and low of 2.1130
    5pm bar of 18th oct.

    and the 22:30 pm bar.

also, I have changed from MBtrading to FXCM data feeds, does the FXCM data feed replace all MB data feeds loaded into NT or does NT hold historical data from MB and continue from the time/date I switched to FXCM?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

Which timezone does your local PC use?
Which bar interval is used in the chart? (tick, minute, etc.)
Which Session Template is used in this chart? (To check please right click in the chart and select Data Series. Session Template is shown on the right)

In terms of your second question, data from FXCM would be used as soon as historical data for the period was reloaded while connected to FXCM.

      Hi Kyle,
using EST NY time and date.
5 minute, same thing showing on the 30minute in terms of range for those large bars.

I was wondering what your kinetick feed was showing, if that didnt have them I would presume they are bad tick bars.

      Is this the session template?

        Hello jitterbug,

Thank you for getting back to me with this clarification.

I am seeing the same bar formation in both NinjaTrader 8 and NinjaTrader 7 when connected to FXCM as well as other data sources like Kinetick. Based on this, it would appear that the prices which you are seeing here are accurate.

You had mentioned that you also have (or perhaps had) an account with MB Trading. Do you see similar bar formations when using data from this feed?

          Hi Kyle,
          thanks for that insight.

the kinetick confirmation is enough for me as they filter bad ticks so thats enough reassurance for me for now. I dont use MB anymore due to data drop out issues, fxcm is far more stable from my testing, so as long as you got the same results via kinetick i`ll accept this data for now.

          thanks for checking.
