"Error on generating strategy " why?

im am using ninjatrader strategy developer and whenever i press finish this error shows up "Error on generating strategy " i am not even using code just adding simple conditions

also is there a book where i can learn ninjatrader coding ?

I suspect you have other items with errors that need attention. All items in your indicators and strategies must compile cleanly for any new work to compile.

Hello,
There is not a specific requirement for the name of the strategy.
What sledge indicated in his last post is the compile errors you are seeing are coming from other strateiges and the errors need to resolved in those strategies code or you would need to remove them from NinjaTrader.
The strategies that contain the errors are your ffdgh, OverboughtOversold, and the SMAdd strategy.
The reason you are seeing these compile is because NinjaTrader always compiles all indicators and strategies - not just one. This is done to give you the highest runtime performance possible.

Not beyond the standard restrictions of c#.

However, your graphic shows 3 separate strategies that have errors, and has identified the errors. Correct them all. Until all errors are corrected, in all files, you cannot get a successful compilation.

Click on the error, and you will be taken to the correct file and place to make corrections.
