is there a way to display the value of the horizontal ling on the chart or on the vertical axis

Thanks for your post.

If the line is part of an indicator then this can be done by double clicking the indicator, which will pull up the 'Indicators' window and ensuring that 'Price Marker(s)' is set to True. If you are referring to a drawing tool line, then there is no way to plot the value inside of NinjaTrader, however, it is possible through 3rd party indicators.

Here is a basic guideline of how to Import NinjaScripts.
To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.
To Import

1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
   
2. From the Control Center window select the menu File> Utilities> Import NinjaScript
   
3. Select the downloaded .zip file
   
4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'
Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:

• Right click you chart > indicators > Select the Indicator from the list on the left > New > OK

Another option is changing the cursor to cross hair, which will allow you to see both the x and y axis value of any point of the chart.

when i try to import into N8 it says i cannot do do being done in an old version.
are you able to advise how this import can be done in N8

Hello Fiddy,

The indicator provided was for NinjaTrader 7 and is not cross compatible with NinjaTrader 8. I do not see a publicly available indicator for NinjaTrader 8 that does what you seek. Our NinjaScript team is in the process of converting the forum indicators and have not converted this indicator yet.

when i try to import the script provided at the link i get the follow msg

"The assemblies 'Accessibilit,System.configuration' have to be added to use the products in the imported assemble.

Can you pls advise what is required to be done here?
