Market Analyzer and ESignal

Hello

I seem to be experiencing a strange problem with ESignal's Data Manager (EDM) and Market Analyzer.

NT version: 6.5.1000.2
EDM Version: 10.0 (Build 388) (Have also tried version 8.1)

The connection from NT to EDM is established. Data for Individual symbols from the Dow 30 groups is loaded onto a chart without a problem. However, when the entire Dow 30 symbols are loaded into a MA grid, no data from EDM is received. In fact, after this operation is preformed, no data for any symbol is received in EDM's symbol monitor. Hence it seems that EDM itself is adversely effected by the loading of a group of symbols in MA.

I searched the archives but did not see anyone expressing a similar problem. Can the NT tech support staff see if they can duplicate this problem?

To clarify:
- there wont be realtime data coming in for any dow30 symbol right now, since markets are closed
- I just tried and added an SMA column to the market analyzer and historical data was loaded no problem

As always, thanks for the prompt reply, Dierk. I fully understand that there won't be any data available at this time but I experienced the same problem during the regular trading hours this morning. Can you offer any hints as to where to look for the source of the problem?

Just tested this (6.5.1000.3):
- connected to eSignal 10.0
- opened default MA (no template defined)
- added DOW 30 list

-> grid got populated in all cells, works as expected

Thank you, Dierk. Regrettebly my experience this morning was not as successful. No BA/BB prices were received and TimeLastTick cells were completely blank. Perhaps it is my machine.

I noticed that BA quotes came if with some delay. Give it some time...
