NT7 Loads and running but no Control Panel or Charts

    NT7 Loads and running but no Control Panel or Charts

    I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but still the same behaviour. NT loads, and is shown to be running in my active software, but no Control Panel, No Charts.

      Can you please send me your log and trace files for today. Log and trace files can be found at the following locations. Please attach the files in your email and send it to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com.

      Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Log--> log.20151110 for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)

      Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Trace--> trace.20151110 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)

        Same problem, lucky i'm not the only one.

        NT seem to be stuck here:
        11/10/2015 8:44:10 AM|1|2|Connecting to NinjaTrader data server (HDS7.NinjaTrader.com/31654)

        It doesn't go into connected state like:
        10/29/2015 7:15:48 AM|1|2|xxx: Primary connection=Connected, Price feed=Connected

        Stuck for about an hour now.

          Unfortunately NinjaTrader Continuum/CQG demo connection currently experience issues. I have received reports from other demo users as well and cannot connect on my end either. I have contacted CQG to troubleshoot the issue. Once there is information, I will let you know.

                      Is there a way to change the default connection without entering NT so I can use the market reply until this issue is resolved?

                        Unfortunately I do not have an ETA at this time. We are working with CQG to troubleshoot the issue. Once there is news regarding the matter, we will let you know.

                            Whoever wants to load NT

                            Hi,
                            I solved the problem that caused NT not to load because of the defective CQG connection.
                            You can go to Documents -> NinjaTrader 7 and find Config.xml file. This file has the following lines in it:

                            Code:
                                    <ConnectOptions xsi:type="CQGOptions">
                                    <Backup />
                                    <ConnectOnStartup>[COLOR="Red"]true[/COLOR]</ConnectOnStartup>
                                    <DataConnection>true</DataConnection>
                                    <Mode>Demo</Mode>
                                    <Name>CQG</Name>
                            You can change the red "true" to "false" and NT will load without CQG as the default connection.

                              This is only to have access to NT for Market reply, right?
