Slow data fill

what would cause the data to be slow in coming thru to market anyalyser
i had a list of S&P 500 stocks and it takes over 30mins to populate at when beginning
The data provider i use is Kinetick

Hello fiddy,

Can you tell me what types of columns are applied to the Market Analyzer? For instance, are you using only simple price based columns like Bid, Ask and Last or are a number of indicator columns applied as well?

i am just trying for the bid/ask/last default and one indicator

To clarify is the indicator column the one that is taking the time to load or all columns? Also can you tell me what indicator you have applied.

Log file will be located by going to Documents->NinjaTrader 7->Log->log.YYYYMMDD.txt

how could i set it up if i didnt need live data, if i just wanted an indicator value based off historocal minute data. is it possible to have a list greater that 100 securities if u dont require the data to be live. i just want to calc indicator on 500+ securities at the end of each day.

If you do not require live data at the end of the day you can load your full list within the Market Analyzer and historical data will be requested from Kinetick servers to calculate the indicators.

when i load the market analyser with S&P 500 list it only pulls up data for 100 securities.

When time permits can you please disconnect then forward me your Kinetick Login/Password along with a screen shot of your indicator settings in the Market Analyzer window.

Alternatively to capture a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and attach the file to your reply.
