    Error When Trying To Import Indicator

    I was down this road a few times before and had managed to sort it out but am hitting a wall with this one.

    When I tried to compile to see what the errors are the error section it is referring to indicator JurikRSX however doing a search on the hard drive does not show this indicator. Another error shown as WoodiesCCI and WoodiesPivots does not turn up in a search.

    When I tried to save it (so I could see where the computer was trying to save the file to I got the unable to write file*.* message.

    I have attached screen shots for your review.

    PS: I tried repair of Ninja Trader but this did not resolve the problem.

    Hello Segwin,

    Thank you for your post.

    Please go to the NinjaTrader Control Center-> Tools-> Edit NinjaScript-> Indicator-> select any indicator-> OK.
    Then right click in the NinjaScript Editor-> select References-> select Add-> select the 'NinjaTrader.Vendor.dll' file-> Open-> OK.
    Then right click in the NinjaScript Editor again-> select Compile.

    This should resolve the errors from your screenshot. Please let me know if more errors are shown.

      Thanks Patrick, that fixed those errors but now I have different ones popping up. See attached pic.

          Thanks for the offer Patrick however I just removed the files in question and reinstalled the indicators.

          Everything is back to normal (until I break it again that is).

            Indicator import error

            i have tried to compile or import indicators and get an unresolved compile messages. i try and compile and these are the errors that show up.

            i removed ninja 7. prior to install and it still is happening.ninja8error.pdf
