    FXCM Connection Username Password Fail

    Hi there.

    I have been connecting to FXCM for a few years with no problem. On Sunday I was connected and then the connection dropped out. Now when I try to connect, I get a "Incorrect Password/ Username". I haven't changed the connection settings and I can still login to my FXCM account with the username and password. Any ideas? Thanks

    Thanks for your note.

    I'd like to see your log and trace files. Please send me a note to platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com. Attach your most current log and trace files to the email, and put a link to this forum post in the body of the email. Please note "ATTN: Drew" in the body of the response.

    You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

    The log file will be named "log.20151203.txt"

    You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

    The trace file will be named "trace.20151203.txt"

        Thanks for your post.

        Please verify your ID and Password are correct and re-enter the credentials.
        You can do this under Tools> Account Connections
        Select your account and press Change
        If you are still unable to connect you can email platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com for more assistance.

          Same issue starting Dec 7th

          Hello

          Today (Monday Dec 7th) I am having the same isssue with my FXCM connection.

          I am getting the following error message when trying to connect "Wrong User name or passwd".

          Nothing has change on my platform since friday Dec the 4th. On friday the connection was working fine and I was able to trade using Ninja on my FXCM account.

          I checked my user and password and are both correct.

          I am able to connect to Rithmic with my Ninjatrader brokeraje account.

          I have a lifetime multibroker account

              I already sent emails to the address you mention. The first one was at 8:58 CET.

              They sent my request to Ninja Brokeraje.

              The reply from Borkeraje was

                  Well I made a new clean install, check my credentials again, but it has not been possible to reconnect fxcm. In short, I remain aside some information emerges.

                  pd: everything is ok through the platform TradingStation II (fxcm)

                      Hello

                      My connection issue with FXCM is solved. I was in touch with FXCM and this is the solution they gave

                      I have to switch my FXCM account type from "Mini" account to "Standard" account first and after this step is completed, FXCM has to activate an internal feature in my account called FOREX CONNECT. After these two steps have been completed I am now able to connect Ninja with FXCM datafeed as before.
