    NinjaTrader 7 Not Responding

    Hello,

    My Ninjatrader 7 isn't responding after the beginning logo with Simulated Trading and Live Trading. Restarting computer and reinstalling Ninjatrader 7 do not work. Only way I can get it to work is to delete the config file and setup the charts all over again.

    Please help!

    Hi emoryhu,

    This can happen when Connect on startup is enabled for a connection but the connection cannot be made.

    Do you have Connect on startup enabled for any connections?

    If so, you can send your configuration file to platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com and we can manually modify your configuration file to disable the Connect on startup without removing the connection.

    You will find your NinjaTrader configuration file in the following directory:
    • (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\config.xml


    Do not post your configuration file to the forums as this will contain sensitive information.

        "Login failed: Unable to connect to the remote server."

        is the problem originating with NinjaTrader or AMP/CQG ?

          I'm having the same issue today. I notice this on Saturdays. Is there a schedule for Continuum down time on the weekends or something?

            Ive forgotten where the "connect on start up" box is located so I dont know if mine is checked or not

            as to whether or not its AMP/cqg;i dont know ;all i know is that fifty times a day the charts will basically go whitish,the color coding of charts box ,red in my case ,will expand and fade;and there is no servce

              I heard back from support, Continuum is down on Saturdays. I don't know about the other issues you are having.

                never heard of or experienced That before
