    Windows 10 not agreeing with NT7.... slow crosshair

    Windows 8 worked great for my NT7, it was silky smooth.

    Windows 10 only works good when I don't use CROSSHAIR. See video

    All drivers up to date..

    GTX780
    16GB RAM
    i5 2500k

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

    I was unable to reproduce this on my end when testing NinjaTrader 7 with Windows 10.

    Please follow the steps listed below to uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader. With this procedure you will not lose any Workspaces, Charts, etc.


    • Close all running applications.
    • Uninstall NinjaTrader within Windows Control Panel.
    • Then you will need to clear your internet browser cache and history. You will clear this from within your internet browser (with IE, Tools-->Options, delete cookies and files, clear history).
    • Reboot your machine.
    • Once these steps are completed, download NT7 from the link below.


    Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

      Did as followed, still lags with crosshair enabled.

        This is a fresh OS and I haven't installed any of my indicators or strategies. It's a clean install of ninjatrader as well.

        Could it be graphics driver? Maybe try an earlier driver.

          Can you download NinjaTrader 8 at the link below and let me know if you can reproduce this behavior when using crosshairs.

            I uninstalled the NVidia driver and lo and behold it was smooth! Installed the driver and it's choppy again....

            Downloading NT8 now.

              Confirmed NT8 is silky smooth with crosshair

                    Are you experiencing similar problems?

                    I would love to switch to NT8 but my indicators and strats is such a PIA to convert.

                      Hi have experienced same in the past but but not sure it was due to graphics card could have been something else, bad coded indicator etc. Was just wondering if the issue you are experiencing will be addressed in the current NT7 platform.
