Weekly and 1440ETH chart not in agreement

    GC 2-16

One chart is a weekly with Nymex Metals/ Energy ETH template selected.

Other chart is 1440min with same template.

    IQ feed for data.

Weekly charts are constructed using daily data, and the provider determines whether RTH or ETH for that chart's template. IQ says they use ETH, not RTH.

The date in question is 11/16/15. On the weekly I have a high of 1192.00. On the 1440min chart I have a high of 1097.70.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks.

    Hello nepenthean,

Thank you for writing in. To help narrow down the issue, could you please let me know if when you set the 1440 minute chart to 1 day you see the same behavior? Please also select the chart and press CTRL + SHIFT + R to reload the historical data, then recheck the 1440 minute chart against the 1 week again.

    Thank you in advance.

      Thanks for replying.

Before I address the original issue for requesting assistance, I need to resolve another issue.

When I reload historical data for my tick chart for 90 days, frequently the lower rt hand corner of the console will read 'SAVING', and on the chart it will say 'Loading data...'. But it never changes.

Usually when it reloads historical data the console lower rt hand corner will say 'SAVING' but then it will show the interval of time of the data being downloaded. This is not the case. I have to exit NT and start the process all over multiple times to resolve this issue. Once I get a box indicating NT application has stopped working the problem resolves after I restart NT.

      Am I missing something?

        Hello nepenthean,

Please note that 90 days worth of tick data is a lot of data to load.

If you decrease the amount of days to load, does this still occur?
