    wrong symbole > Ninja freezing!

    Hello !
    Everytime i insert a not-existing symbole (for example a typing error)
    when opening a new chart or choosing a symbole for a strategy,
    Ninjatrader is freezing completly!
    Is there a posibility to recover the situation without closing Ninjatrader per complete shutdown (i do must do this via win-task-manager) ?
    At the moment the complete shutdown is the only way i can handle this - and this is not very comfortable.

    a) which broker/provider are you connected to?
    b) please double check that you are on latest 6.5.1000.3

      first realising this when typing "ER" instead off "ER2" these days,
      today had it again today with an other "mistake-symbole".

      i am on the way switching to live now - testing the last things.

        Hmm ... sorry can't reproduce here.
        a) try Tools->Options->Misc->Repair DB
        b) if issue persists, I would need exact steps to reproduce

          OK steps to repruduce :

          Open ninja > connect it + then go to :

          > file > new > chart > future
          and insert manually ER + 06-08 + 150 Ticks

          templates NONE ---

          hit ok >> ninja is freezing

          also when i use for example "fdas" instead of "fdax" for symbole-name

            To clarify: what exactly do you mean by "freezing"?

            Also: does it happen on a 1-minute as well?

              freezing means : nothing happens anymore + you can not klick any button in ninja - ninja is "hanging" - you can only close it via windows tast manager.

              - also in 1 minute

                  OK - done ... but can you reproduce it now ? You got it what i mean ?
                  Me + friends reproduce this on different PCs + form different locations.
