    Failure to get license

    Hope this is the right place to post this.

    My client stopped being able to find the license for some of my indicators. I've added a screenshot of the error that i get. Is this a problem with Ninjatrader or with my license?

    Thank you for your post.

    Is the client using the most current release of your product? This message indicates that the indicator is not able to reach the licensing server which may relate to changes made in the last few months.

      Does the client automatically update? I don't remember manually updating anything, but if it was an automatic update this might be the case.

        Hello Vee123,

        There is currently no automatic update feature in NinjaTrader.
        Updates are applied manually.

          Alright. Does that mean that this can't be the issue, or that the issue might relate to me not updating my product?

          The version i'm currently using is 7.0.1000.10. So i must not have updated since April 2012. However, the product was working fine untill a short time ago. Does this mean the problem lies with the party who does the licensing?

            Hello Vee123,

            I would recommend updating to the latest release of NinjaTrader and contacting the vendor of the third party product for the latest release of their software as well.

              I've updated my version but no luck so far. I'll get in contact with the vendor of the product and see if that helps. I'll report back soon. Thanks!
