There are two ways to flatten all your trades at once.

    1. In the Control Center, Tools -> Options -> Misc has a "flatten positions" option, which will allow you to schedule a time to flatten all of your positions automatically

    2. In a SuperDOM window, the "flatten" button will automatically flatten all your positions.

Unfortunately, there is no supported way to do this via NinjaScript.

In reference to option 1, will this also cancel any open orders which related to current open position (ie buytocover orders still open

Yes, any of NinjaTrader's flatten functions should exit out of all of your short positions, as well as all of your long positions.

                  Hello babouin77,

The "auto close" feature within NinjaTrader 8 may be set to close all instruments.

To do this, simply enable the "Auto close position" option under Tools > Options > Trading.

Once you click on "0 instruments" you may then enter specific instruments, including their expiration (e.g. "AAPL" or "ES 12-20") or select "Auto close on all instruments", which would then apply to any and all positions currently active on your account(s):
