I am in a combine with TopStepTrader, and I have a few old combine accounts that are no longer being used. Is there a way to clear them out of the database, so they don't show up any longer in my account selection?

Can you clarify - are you referring to the File > New list or the 'Accounts' list in the advanced section of the Account Performance tab?

There is no way to remove accounts from this list without renaming the database.

You can rename your database by following the steps below:

• Shutdown NinjaTrader and Go to the Start Menu
• Select My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> DB--> NinjaTrader.SDF.
• Right click on NinjaTrader.SDF and select "Rename." *Name it "OLDNinjaTrader.SDF."
• Then restart the software and NinjaTrader will create a fresh database file to use
• Unfortunately the following items stored in the old database will be lost - ATM Strategy templates, Session templates, Instrument Lists / Custom Instruments, historical trade execution data, saved Strategy Analyzer backtest results

This has been addressed in NinjaTrader 8 and you can remove accounts without having to modify the database.

I was afraid of that. And there is probably no way to export any of those items to add to the new database? All I really care about are the atms. The rest I don't use much.

Unfortunately there is not.

This is another item which has been addressed in NinjaTrader 8.

Oh well, good to hear you've address it. I still can't trade live in my combine in NT8. Any idea when NT8 will be fully released and eligible for live trading?

It is possible to trade live currently with NinjaTrader 8 Beta, however this may be a limitation put in place by your combine.

We have no set release date for the final version of NinjaTrader 8. I would recommend monitoring the forums for any announcements here:
