Chart Trader entries

In chart trader I would like to be able to enter a Stop Limit Order without having to confirm the qty. just as I can with a normal Limit Order.

There are times when having to stop to do that will make me miss an entry, especially since it seems to be tricky to get the curser in just the exact position for the confirmation to work. It can take several tries sometimes if your curser is in the cross hair mode.

Is there a way to currently turn this off?

The entry field which appears when placing a stop limit order is not to confirm your contract quantity. This is to configure the amount of ticks away from your stop that the limit part of the stop limit order will be placed at.

You can set a default stop limit offset by right-clicking on Chart Trader > Chart Trader Properties > Change the 'Stop limit offset' from 'OFF' to a number > OK.

After a default stop limit offset is configured, the stop limit offset will automatically be applied and the entry field will no longer appear when placing stop limit orders.
