How to delete only few tick of unwanted data

Hi,

The reload or delete of historical data only can only be set on day range. Is there a way to delete only few tick of unwanted data? I've tried to read the database directly from \NinjaTrade 6.5\db\NinjaTrader.mdb by using MS Access but cannot find the table with the tick data. Pls help

Tick editing is on our list for NT7. In the meantime you can try deleting the data for the day and reloading it? Tools->Historical Data->Reload/Delete

Tools->Historical Data->Reload/Delete will delete whole day of tick data but I only want to delete few ticks of unwanted data. What is the database table that stores the tick data in \NinjaTrade 6.5\db\NinjaTrader.mdb ?

Unfortunately not.

If you want to remove a few ticks, you can do this as follows,

1. First export the tick data starting with the day you intend edit.
2. Open the exported file, navigate to the date/time you want to change, and edit it.
3. Save the tick file.
4. Delete data for the instrument you're editing starting with the first day you edited forward in time.
5. Repair the data base.
6. Restart NT.
7. Import the fixed data.
8. You should be good to go.

I suggest you first run a full NT backup, in the event you do something you didn't intend to.
