I'm trying to setup FX commissions for IB

They charge US$20 per US$1m traded with a minimum comm of US$2

So in the Commission Tab under
Currency - Interactive Brokers

I have entered US$2 as the minimum and a commission of 0.00002 per US$1

& I have checked the 'Apply Commission to PnL calculations'

Unfortunately when I generate the trades report in 'Account Performance' commissions do not show up.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thank you for your post.

Have any new orders executed since commissions were configured? When commissions are setup those commissions would apply to new executions only. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the commissions used on orders which executed before commissions were configured.

That's why it didn't work, I was applying commissions to existing trades.

Are the values I put in for the comm setup correct?

It sounds like the commissions are setup correctly. One easy way to test this would be to configure the same commission settings for the simulation account and place an order in the Sim101 account to confirm that things are working normally.

I wasn't going to test it, it was going straight onto a live script I'm trading.

But just to check with you, the commission settings doesn't affect in any way the submission or execution of live orders?
Are comm calculations just a internal calculation within NT?

Your understanding is correct, commissions will have no impact on submission or execution of orders. Commissions are something which NinjaTrader will calculate internally based on the settings which you've added to the Options menu's Commissions tab.
