Pending orders

I don't know how, I have 24 orders in ninja trader simulation account that are impossible to cancel them. I have tried everything and I amb no able to cancel all. I don't know what is happening and why are all these orders there.

Thank you for writing in.

To remove stuck Sim orders, you will need to reset your Sim account.

Resetting a simulation account will clear all historical trade data from this account. Please follow the instructions below to reset a simulation account. (This can take long depending on the size of your database file and your system.)

• From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools> Options> Simulator.
• Press the 'Reset' button.
• If you do not want to lose your trade data, uncheck the 'Clear history' box (This must be left checked when wanting to remove a stuck sim order)

Thank you for your answer.

But I don't understand why I have to lose all my historical data to solve this issue.
Why does this situation happen? What if this happens in a real account?

Hello bonnies,

Resetting the simulation account does not necessarily have to result in the loss of prior trades. Un-checking the 'clear history' box before resetting the account will clear these initialized orders without clearing all order history.

So that we can look in to why these orders became stuck in this state please send me your log and trace files.

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.
