Ratio

Is there a way or add on to chart the ratio of two Futures contracts
(say [ Feb CL (crude) / June CL (crude) ] ) as a main chart or in a sub panel.

This is not possible by default however the 'Spread Indicator with Candlesticks' indicator which you can download at the following link would allow for this type of chart: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...catid=4&id=512

To import the indicator:
1. From the Control Center window select the menu File > Utilities > Import NinjaScript to open the Import NinjaScript dialog window
2. Select the file you want to import
3. Press the "Open" button

Thanks for your response. But this indicator is not a ratio. It is the difference
between the two contracts. And also there are errors in the difference plot.
The reason is that the close of the two contracts do not occur at the same time
giving some bad data to the calculation.

As Kyle advised there is no method within Ninjatrader that directly accomplishes this. There are a number of indicators that may want to review that may provide what you need. Here is a link to the forums file sharing area: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...ks.php?catid=4

If you are unable to find what you need then you have a couple of alternatives:
1) Create the indicator to provide the capability you need. You can accomplish this using Ninjascript which is based on C# programming language. If you would like assistance getting started with the learning of Ninjascript I would be glad to provides links for that.
2) Have the indicator created for you by 3rd party programmers. If you would like to have this done we can provide you with references of a number of programmers who can quote for their services.
