I have been having this issue for years and have just dealt with it up until now by manually disconnecting and reconnecting which always works.. My trading style has changed recently and it has become imperative that NT stay connected overnight so that my email alerts are pushed through to my colleagues.
Sometimes I will get through many days without this happening. It has happened three times this week, twice on Wednesday afternoon and Once in the early hours or Thursday morning. Monday and Tuesday were both fine. This seems to be a completely random occurrence.

I am willing to be corrected but I have little doubt that this is an NT issue... Although i believe it could be Kineticks cause initially by maybe causing the connection to break, it is NT that is unable to reconnect when the connection is obviously available.
