Market Replay Instruments

Apologies first - wasnt sure were to post this for version 7.

I have downloaded market replay data for 2014 for Crude and wanted to do market replay. However while the data came down ok, I actually cannot choose an instrument from 2014 in the Instrument Manager. The earliest expiry is 02-15 that I can choose from. Is there a way to access this older data at all?

Change your system clock to January 2014 to add earlier contracts, then change back?

Yes sledge, you are correct. You will have to change your PC clock to an earlier year. Please see the steps below to do so:

* Shut down NinjaTrader
* Right click on your PC clock on your task bar and select Adjust data/time.
* Click on Change date and time....
* Under Date: change the calendar to the year 2014 and click OK.
* Launch NinjaTrader and navigate to the Instrument Manager window which will allow you to select earlier dates.
*Once you have the older contracts you would like to replay, Shutdown NinjaTrader and change the year back.

Note: when changing the year, it would be expected to see a licensing error within NinjaTrader.
