Charts for CHIX Australia (from IB) not working?

He need see in TWS, if NAB trade in CHIXAU, that need test in NT 8.0

In TWS, under the Contract Selection, I see only SMART (ASX) and ASX.



When I try in Ninja Trader 8, the quotes still work fine. However, the chart says loading... for a possibly a minute, then come back with an error...

axyl21 how you see on first picture NAB not trade on CHIXAU, or IB not give trade NAB on CHIXAU.

And TWS not have history and RT data for this instrument ( NAB|CHIXAU ), and you have error in Ninja.

In your fist post in this thread you picture stock specification from web site from IB, this can may old or incorrect information, check Tikers in TWS where they trades.

Current ticker NAB trades only ASX, or this equals SMART(ASX), and you not see other exchange. I screenshot example for you european DCX and he trades on Chix.

CHIXAU, CHIXDE and other Chix this is ECN

Primary exchange for your ticker NAB -> ASX

If you want trade NAB need subscribe on ASX and trade this ticker on ASX ( NAB|ASX ), or contact with IB support and ask, why NAB not trade on CHIXAU or you have restriction for this exchange, not see CHIXAU in TWS ?

May be this internal problem in IB with CHIXAU, need contact with IB.

axyl213, if you use just "NAB" as symbol map instead of "NAB|CHIXAU", do you load realtime and historical data?

Jason in IB subscription on exchange not equals
displayed exchange from ticker for user (trader). This display all exchage where ticker trade. In current example NAB trade only on ASX, you can may have subscription or not.

Hi Jason,

That would work for the quotes, but not for the historical time series/charts.

We ended up adding an ASX Subscription in IB, as we didn't want to wait for a resolution to this issue, so I'm not able to test this anymore I'm afraid.
