Connect to IQFeed but no data in the chart

i have a active green Connection to IQFeed but no data in the charts

Thank you for your post.

Based on the information which you provided I would recommend that you reset NinjaTrader's instrument definitions by following the steps included below:

* First, disconnect from all data sources via the File > Disconnect menu.
* Next, open the Options menu. (Tools > Options)
* In the Options menu's Data tab, click the 'Reset Instruments' button.
* When this operation is complete you will be prompted to restart NinjaTrader to complete the process.


After restarting, please reconnect and check for data once again.

In the message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace file. The trace file is found in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder. I would need to review a copy of the file named 'trace.20160321.txt'.

Hi champagner, this is pretty normal for NT. Expect it to happen daily. I thought it was a FXCM problem only.
