    Merge Data Issue with Zenfire

Refer to the screenshot above for the problem...

I have tried to merge the june contract with september contract quite a few times. In fact, in the past I have been successful with it.

Now, however, it is giving me that long range bar and there's nothing I can do about it. I know some other people who are using zenfire with ninja who seem to have the same problem.

I even deleted all data for the contracts and then repaired db. Went into merge, selected 3/13/08 ---> 6/11/08 for june contract and merged into the september contract and it's still doing same error.

In fact, I got it working correctly for a few seconds but as soon as ninja begins to reload the data (as it does everytime you connect to zenfire) it displays the messed up data again.

Any ideas on what's causing this?

I have the latest version of NJ 6.5.

    - please make sure you are on latest 6.5.1000.4
    - pull up a 1 minute chart on both originating series -> should be ok
    - then merge and pull up a 1min series on the merged series -> should be ok

Note: large bars on volume series are an indication of large price moves with little trading activity. To visually check bar series you should use time based series like 1 minute series.

As I said, I have the latest version.

I'm a little confused as to what you mean by originating series... please explain.

As to the data, it is 100% certainly wrong. I have checked it against other traders' data in both TS and and those who correctly somehow managed to merge data in NJ with zenfire.

By originating series we mean the two different contracts individually (premerger). Open a 1min chart of them and take a look at the data.
